The weather has remained cool, wet and windy for the second and third trips of our 2017 fishing season. In spite of the below normal temperatures and unsettled weather conditions our guests recorded catching and releasing some great fish.
Andy Garst caught and released a 42″ laker as well as some monster northern pike during their four-day couples trip to Minor Bay Lodge. Andy’s wife – not to be outdone, caught and released a fat, 36-inch lake trout the next day.
Kathy Harrison caught and released a great trophy pike and her husband Dave also recorded a number of 40-inch plus northerns.
