Fortunately, most of our guests will never need to make a claim on travel insurance. However over the past season we have seen a noticeable number of our guests who did have to cancel trips at the last minute due to health concerns, injury or other reasons.
Therefore, after exploring a number of travel insurance options for our guests we have partnered with the Sportsman’s Travel Insurance Plan to provide insurance coverage to our valued guests. Basic Silver Plan coverages include: 100% trip cost cancellation and trip interruption; $500 trip interruption – return air only; $500 trip delay; $750 baggage and personal effects coverage ($50 deductible); $200 baggage delay; $15,000 accident medial sickness medical expense ($50 deductible), and; $150,000 emergency evacuation and repatriation of remains.
If you book your insurance within 15 days of your initial trip deposit the following additional coverages are available at no extra cost: pre-existing medical condition exclusion waiver; trip cancellation and interruption due to the financial failure of an airline, cruise line or tour operator, and; $25,000 accidental death and dismemberment common carrier air only coverage.
Please note: the insurance coverage described above pertains to the basic “Silver” Plan. The Gold and Platinum Insurance Plans offer higher levels of coverage as well as optional coverages not available with the basic plan, such as cancellation for any reason.
